The firm will mail owners a corrected Spanish language manual.
Evenflo Company, Inc. (Evenflo) is recalling about 14,020 LiteMax Factory Select child seats with model number CS100111198. The weight and height limitations are stated incorrectly in the Spanish language manual. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 213, which regards child restraint systems. Incorrect information in the manual may result in an improperly restrained child, increasing the risk of injury in a crash (NHTSA Recall Notice, No. 26C002, Report receipt date: Feb. 25, 2026).
Remedy. Evenflo will mail owners a corrected Spanish language manual, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 31, 2026.
