March 10, 2026. NHTSA has extended the comment period for a proposed Global Technical Regulation (GTR) for Automated Driving Systems. The comment period was originally scheduled to end on February 23, 2026, but was extended by 15 days to March 10, 2026 (NHTSA Notice and request for comments, 91 Fed. Reg. 9689 (Feb. 26, 2026)).
