Two recalls have been issued for children’s magnet-based toy sets for violating federal safety standards. The first recall covers Grtard Magnet Stick Figure Men Toy Sets, which contain loose high powered magnets that pose an ingestion risk. The second recall is for Huaker Magnetic Balls and Rods Sets, which include small balls that pose a choking hazard to young children.

Incidents and injuries. No incidents or injuries have been reported in either case.

Grtard recall. The Grtard recall covers about 130 flexible stick figure toys sold on Walmart.com between May 2025 and November 2025 for about $12. The sets include 10 figures in various solid and transparent colors, each with magnets inside the hands and feet. The loose magnets violate toy safety requirements because if they are ingested, they can attract inside the body, leading to intestinal perforations, twisting, blockages, blood poisoning, or death. Consumers are instructed to stop using the toys, keep them away from children, and contact Grtard by email at Grtardrecall@outlook.com for a refund (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-291 (Feb. 26, 2026)).

Huaker recall. The Huaker recall involves about 782 Magnet Balls and Rods sets sold on Amazon.com from September 2025 through November 2025 for about $23. The 88 piece sets, packaged in a plastic handled box labeled “Magnetic Sticks” and “Model:20A 13,” violate the mandatory standard for toys because they contain small balls and are intended for children under three years of age. The small balls create a choking hazard. Consumers are advised to discontinue use, throw the sets away, and contact Huaker by email at Huaker-magnetic-balls@outlook.com for a refund (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-272 (Feb. 19, 2026)).
