    Colombia's National Directorate of Taxes and Customs has undertaken an enforcement campaign targeting large retailers.

    The agency said over 1,400 tax officials carried out in-person inspections of 680 retailers on April 25, 2026, focusing on hypermarkets, supermarkets, discount stores, and shopping complexes.

    The probe in particular sought to unveil undeclared income and businesses that have failed to register, and e-invoicing-related non-compliance.
