The FCC’s Office of Engineering and Technology yesterday issued a series of orders withdrawing recognition as an accredited test laboratory from the following entities based on their ownership, direction, or control by an untrustworthy actor: Chongqing Academy of Information and Communications a/k/a Chongqing Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAIC), CQC Internet of Vehicles Technical Service Co. Ltd. (CQC-IVTS), Telecommunications Technology Labs CAICT (CTTL), TUV Rheinland/CCIC (Ningbo), and CVC Testing Technology Co. Ltd (CVC).

OET initiated the proceedings in October to identify labs that should be banned from the FCC’s equipment authorization program (TR Daily, Oct. 27, 2025).
