Dealers will install a panel between the furnace and the linoleum.

Forest River, Inc. is recalling approximately 13 2024 Aurora and Catalina travel trailers because the furnace may have been installed directly on top of vinyl linoleum floor, which can allow the floor to overheat. Overheated vinyl linoleum flooring increases the risk of a fire (NHTSA Recall Notice, No. 24V350, Report receipt date: May 17, 2024).

Remedy. Dealers will install a panel between the furnace and the linoleum, free of charge. All affected vehicles are still in dealer inventory and, therefore, no owner notification letters will be mailed.

Contact information. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-825-4995. Forest River’s number for this recall is 205-1778.
