Antitrust attorneys David Kesselman, Amy Brantly, Trevor Stockinger, and Majed Dakak have combined their expertise to form a new antitrust and business litigation boutique law firm, Kesselman Brantly Stockinger LLP (KBS), in Los Angeles. The three named partners were most recently with Goldberg, Lowenstein & Weatherwax LLP. Dakak joins KBS as a founding partner, from Blecher & Collins.
KBS represents clients—ranging from family-owned to publicly-traded companies—in antitrust and unfair competition disputes, competition counseling, complex business litigation, and employment litigation. The firm’s attorneys are experienced in handling antitrust litigation in both federal and state courts, including price discrimination, vertical price fixing, group boycott, monopolization, and refusal to deal cases.
“In addition to the challenges of traditional price fixing or monopolization, many California businesses face a host of antitrust and competition related issues, including non-compete agreements, exclusive dealing contracts, distribution concerns and competitor interference with customers,” stated Kesselman. “Many business owners are unaware that California provides recourse to businesses harmed by competitors’ anticompetitive conduct. Conversely, running a business in California can be a minefield for those unaware of unique statutory schemes that can impose liability on pricing and other distribution practices. There are few boutique firms that have the depth of expertise and value we bring in these areas.”
The new firm has also announced the addition of Koral E. Fusselman as an associate, and Aimee Dudovitz as of counsel. Dudovitz is currently a professor at Loyola Law School.
