At least 20 consumers have been injured while using the product.
About 60,720 TT Trsmima zipline kits and about 19,120 sold-separately zipline spring brakes are being recalled after several reported injuries. The kit’s steel cable, turnbuckle, and seat can detach or break during use, posing a fall hazard. The spring brakes are not stiff enough to safely slow riders, and the kits do not include an emergency brake, creating collision and fall hazards (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-632 (July 30, 2026)).
Incidents and injuries. The company has received 21 reports of turnbuckles, cables, or seats in the zipline kits breaking or detaching during use, resulting in consumer falls and at least eight injuries, including fractures, sprains, bruises, and scratches. Trsmima also received 19 reports of spring brakes in the kits or sold separately failing to safely slow riders, resulting in collisions with trees and/or falls. Those incidents included at least 12 injuries, including fractures, concussions, and abrasions.
Product description. The recall involves TT Trsmima Zipline Kits and Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Zipline Spring Brakes. The zipline kits contain components and instructions for installing a 76- to 200-foot backyard zipline for children and adults, including a cable; turnbuckle or ratchet strap; plastic seat; waist belt or harness; trolley; spring brake; and hardware. The spring brakes sold separately include black stoppers on each end and have no labeling or instructions.
The products were sold on Amazon.com from March 2020 through May 2026. The zipline kits sold for between $45 and $285, while the spring brakes sold for between $14 and $48. The products were manufactured in China by Trsmima, also known as Hunan Pineapple Electronic Commerce Co., Ltd.
Remedy. Consumers should stop using the recalled zipline kits and spring brakes immediately and contact Trsmima for a full refund. To receive a refund, consumers must uninstall the zipline kits, destroy specified components, discard all kit parts (including the cable, spring brake, turnbuckle, and trolley), and send photographs of the destroyed and discarded products to the company. Consumers with stand-alone spring brakes must dispose of the products in the trash and submit photographs to obtain a refund.
