Customers will be offered a free repair kit that removes the pool’s compression strap.

About 4,000 Evajoy above ground pools measuring 48 inches and taller have been recalled because a compression strap on the exterior of the pool may create a foothold, allowing a child to climb into the water and risk drowning (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-308 (Feb. 26, 2026)).

Incidents and injuries. No incidents or injuries have been reported.

Product description. The recalled products include Evajoy models EJ HF032, EJ HF044, and EJ HF045. The pools range from 16 to 24 feet in diameter and 48 to 52 inches in height. Model details and the Evajoy logo are printed on the outside liner. Each pool contains a compression strap—also referred to as a reinforcing belt — that wraps around the vertical support poles and can act as a step. This allows children to gain access to the pool even when the ladder has been removed.

The pools were manufactured in China and sold on Amazon.com from March 2023 through June 2024 for between $550 and $1,050, depending on the size and model of the pool and accessories purchased.

Remedy. Consumers are advised to contact Evajoy for a free repair kit designed to remove the strap while preserving the pool’s structural integrity. Until the repair is completed, the company recommends ensuring that children cannot access the pool or draining the pool temporarily.

    Customer contact.
