    CCM Hockey U.S. is recalling about 12,957 FMHVR Hybrid Visors and ACCHVR Replacement Visor Accessories because the products can crack upon impact, posing a risk of injury from laceration or impact hazards (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-716 (Aug. 20, 2026)).

    Incidents and injuries. No incidents or injuries have been reported in connection with the recalled hockey visors and replacement visor accessories.

    Product description. The recall involves CCM Hybrid Hockey Visors, style FMHVR, and ACCHVR Replacement Visor Accessories. The recalled FMHVR Hybrid Visors are marked “HVR” above the red CCM logo and have serial numbers beginning with “M/L” or “S/M.” The recalled ACCHVR Replacement Visor Accessories have serial numbers beginning with “SR.”

    The products were sold at Monkey Sports, Play It Again Sports, Pure Hockey, independent sporting goods stores, and online at CCM’s website from May 2024 through April 2026. The Hybrid Visors sold for about $120, and the Replacement Visor Accessories sold for about $55. The products were manufactured in China.

    Remedy. Consumers should stop using the recalled visors and visor accessories immediately and return them to the nearest participating retailer for a free replacement. Consumers may choose a replacement FV1 full visor, FM780 combo cage, or FM580 combo cage. Consumers who do not have access to a participating retailer can contact CCM directly to receive a prepaid return envelope. CCM will ship a replacement product after receiving the returned recalled item.
