If swallowed, the batteries can cause serious injuries, including internal chemical burns and death (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-672 (Aug. 6, 2026)).
Incidents and injuries. No incidents or injuries have been reported in connection with the recalled finger light toys.
Product description. The recall involves Syera-branded LED Finger Lights sold in sets of 28 or 30 multi-colored lights with 30 astronaut cards. Each finger light contains three internal button cell batteries that power astronaut projections when activated. The Syera brand name is printed on the packaging. The products were sold online at Temu.com from December 2025 through April 2026 for between $8 and $16. The toys were manufactured in China.
Remedy. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled toys, take them away from children, and contact Syera for a full refund. To receive a refund, consumers will be asked to remove and properly dispose of the finger lights in the trash and email a photograph of the disposed products to the company. The recall notice states that button cell batteries should be disposed of or recycled in accordance with local hazardous waste procedures.
