The items include baby loungers, children’s carriers, crib bumpers, crib mattresses, magnetic toy sets, and smoke/CO detectors.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission is urging consumers to stop using the following products immediately because they pose a risk of serious injury or death. CPSC has issued Notices of Violation to the sellers, but in most cases, the firms have not agreed to an acceptable recall or remedy to consumers. In one case, the firm has gone out of business and cannot offer refunds.
Baby loungers. Joyful Journeys Baby Loungers violate the mandatory safety standard for infant sleep products because the sides are too low to contain an infant and the enclosed openings at the foot of the loungers are wider than allowed, posing fall and entrapment risks. The loungers also lack a stand, posing a fall hazard if used on elevated surfaces. The retailer, Sarnia Sales LLC, doing business as Joyful Journeys, of Issaquah, Washington, previously agreed to recall these hazardous baby loungers but is now out of business and unable to offer refunds to consumers. The products were sold on Amazon.com and Walmart.com from December 2023 through October 2025 for between $40 and $60 (Warning No. 26-586 (July 2, 2026)).
Children’s carriers. Babypark 3-in-1 Soft Infant and Toddler Carriers violate the mandatory safety standard for soft infant and toddler carriers because the leg openings are large enough for the child to slip through, posing a deadly fall hazard. The carriers were sold on Amazon.com by Beiyou Bless, of China, from April 2024 through May 2026 for about $27 (Warning No. 26-589 (July 2, 2026)).
Crib bumpers. LDLXLHTE Crib Bumpers can obstruct an infant’s breathing, posing a risk of serious injury or death from suffocation. The bumpers are white with an animal print on one side and pink with flower patterns on the other and have pink ribbons. They were sold on Amazon.com by Linhong New Energy, of China, from April 2026 through May 2026 for about $36 (Warning No. 26-587 (July 2, 2026)).
Crib mattresses. Criblike aftermarket play yard and non-full-sized crib mattresses violate the mandatory standard for crib mattresses because they may not adequately fit certain play yards or non-full-sized cribs, posing a deadly entrapment hazard. In addition, the non-full-sized crib mattresses tested by CPSC failed to meet the mandatory standard for mattress set flammability. The affected products are Criblike Pack and Play mattresses, models XCD-001 and XCD-002, and Criblike Mini-crib mattresses, model MNCL-001. The seller, Mengna, of China, previously issued a recall for units sold on Amazon from June 2025 through September 2025, but has not agreed to implement a wider recall for the units sold from May 2023 through May 2025 (Warning No. 26-590 (July 2, 2026)).
Separately, Vomiliku Full Sized Crib Mattresses violate the mandatory safety standard for mattress flammability, posing a deadly fire hazard. The mattresses also fail to meet mandatory safety requirements for warnings and labeling under the mandatory safety standard for crib mattresses. The products were sold on Amazon.com by Hooplus, of China, from February 2026 through April 2026 (Warning No. 26-583 (June 25, 2026)).
Magnetic toy sets. Ocensmice Magnetic Building Sticks and Steel Balls violate the mandatory standard for toys because the small sticks contain stronger than permitted magnets that fit within CPSC’s small parts cylinder, posing a risk of serious injury or death if ingested by children. The products were sold on Amazon.com by Ocensmice, of China, from October 2022 through November 2025 for about $20 (Warning No. 26-588 (July 2, 2026))
Smoke/CO detectors. JNHCD Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide (CO) Detectors can fail to alert consumers to the presence of hazardous smoke and fire, posing a risk of serious injury or death. The products were sold on Amazon.com, eBay.com, and Sears.com by Guangzhouzejunshangmaoyouxiangongsi, of China, under the following ASINs, which can be found on the purchase receipt: B0C7MTR7ST, B0C7MTBNYB, B0GHDXW52J, B0C9X2Z9T7, B0FSXHPVJL, B0GH77QSYP, B0C9X1CSLR, B0C5TBDR2T, B07PMLN33G, B07YJPYR6D, B0FSXCDJCL, B0C9X1HX11, B0C9X3D2YR, and B0GH779LZ7 (Warning No. 26-614 (July 9, 2026)).
