The firm will provide a free repair.

Sauna360 has recalled about 47,580 saunas and infrared sauna products after identifying two separate hazards: infrared panels in certain infrared and hybrid saunas and infrared kits can short-circuit and overheat, creating fire and burn hazards; while benches in certain Tylö Halmstad and Kiruna Hybrid saunas can collapse, posing a fall hazard. The recalls involve about 41,580 infrared sauna products and about 6,000 Tylö-branded sauna rooms.

Incidents and injuries. Sauna360 has received 67 reports involving overheating, melting, charring, or burning in the recalled infrared and hybrid saunas and infrared kits. No injuries have been reported in connection with those products.

Separately, the company has received 77 additional reports of benches breaking in the recalled Tylö Halmstad and Kiruna Hybrid saunas. Six injuries were reported, including one consumer who suffered head and neck injuries and another who sustained a sprained ankle.

Product description. The first recall involves various infrared and hybrid sauna models and infrared kits sold under the Finnleo, Helo, Radiant Health, Sauna360, Saunatec, Tylö and Tylohelo brands, including model series such as IS44, IS565, S810, S820, S830, S840, S870, S880, Sentinel 3, Sentinel Hybrid 2-20, Sentinel Hybrid 3, IG810, IG820, IG830, IG840, IG870, IG880, Pause 1H through Pause 3H CA, E510, E570 and E580, Kiruna 1, Kiruna 2, Kiruna 3, Kiruna Hybrid 2-15, Kiruna Hybrid 2-20 and Kiruna Hybrid 3, along with Carbonflex, Saunalogic, Infralogic, Aspire, and Bliss infrared kits. A complete list is available here. These products were manufactured in China and sold at Costco stores, pool and spa dealerships nationwide, Costco.com, and other online sites from May 2013 through July 2026 for between $6,000 and $13,000 (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-784 (Sept. 17, 2026)).

The second recall, which expands a previous recall, involves Tylö Halmstad 2, 3 and 4 sauna rooms and Tylö Kiruna Hybrid 2 and 3 sauna rooms. A complete list is available here. Those products were manufactured by SFactor in China and sold through various distributors nationwide from July 2024 through July 2026 for between $6,000 and $12,000 (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-783 (Sept. 17, 2026)).

Remedy. Consumers should stop using all affected infrared and hybrid saunas, infrared kits, and recalled Tylö Halmstad and Kiruna Hybrid sauna rooms immediately. For the infrared-panel recall, Sauna360 is offering a free in-home repair by a professional installer. For the Tylö sauna recall expansion, consumers should stop using the products even if they previously received the 2025 recall repair. Sauna360 will provide another free repair in which a professional installer retrofits the benches with additional hardware and supports.

Customer contact. Consumers can contact Sauna360 toll-free at 866-936-5962 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday; by email at recall@sauna360.com; or online at https://sauna360.com/product-recall or https://sauna360.com and clicking “Recall” at the bottom of the page.
