The firm is offering replacement magnets that are not small parts.

Stoney Games, LLC, of Bexley, Ohio, has announced a recall of about 151,600 Kluster Fun Tabletop Magnet Chess Games due to the presence of loose high powered magnets that pose a serious ingestion hazard to children. The magnets can fit within the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s small parts cylinder. High powered magnets can attract each other inside the digestive system if swallowed, potentially causing life threatening internal injuries such as intestinal perforations, twisting, blockages, blood poisoning, or death (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-319 (Mar. 12, 2026)).

Incidents and injuries. No incidents or injuries have been reported.

Product description. The recalled products include sets containing approximately 24 small magnets, an orange string, an instruction manual, and a black storage pouch labeled “Kluster.” Some versions were also sold in a white pouch with gameplay instructions printed on the back. The magnets measure roughly 0.5 to 1 inch wide and 0.3 to 0.4 inches high.

The games were manufactured in China and sold nationwide through independent retailers and online platforms—including Klustermagnets.com, Amazon, and Etsy—from October 2018 through September 2025 for between $15 and $20.

Remedy. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled magnet games, take them away from children, and contact Stoney Games for instructions on how to dispose of the recalled magnets and receive replacement magnets that are not small parts.

Customer contact. For more information, customers may contact Stoney Games at 800-362-0977 from 8 a.m. to p.m. ET, Monday through Friday; by email at klusterrecall@gmail.com; or online at www.klustermagnets.com/recall or www.klustermagnets.com and click “Recall” at the top of the page.
