There have been 11 reported incidents associated with the product, including fires, sparking, and smoking.

About 1,980 FUNTOK 24V 2-Seater Ride-On Trucks have been recalled because their circuit boards can overheat and ignite, creating fire and burn hazards (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-348 (Mar. 26, 2026)).

Incidents and injuries. The importer, Shenzhen Luobei Trading Co., has received 11 incident reports involving fires, sparking, melting, overheating, or smoking, but no injuries have been reported.

Product description. The recall applies to model number DLS K03, sold in red, black, white, and pink from October through December 2025 on Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and TikTok.com for about $240. The trucks feature “4x4” on the tailgate and “TURBO DIESEL” on the side, with the “FUNTOK” brand and model information printed on packaging and user manuals. They were manufactured in China.

Remedy. Consumers are eligible for a full refund. To receive one, they must disable the truck by cutting the battery wires, then submit a photo showing the cut wires and “VOID,” their name, and the date written on the hood. Directions on how to disassemble and disable the ride-on truck can be found at https://funtok.net/pages/voluntary-product-safety-recall. The lead acid battery must be recycled through appropriate hazardous waste channels and not placed in regular trash or curbside recycling.
