The products were sold on Amazon by Chillife Official, of China.

About 20,134 Chillife 5-in-1 Montessori Baby Toy Sets are being recalled because the pull string teething toy included in the set violates the mandatory standard for toys. The silicone strings are smaller and longer than permitted and can reach the back of a child's throat and become lodged, posing a risk of respiratory distress and deadly choking (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-727 (Aug. 27, 2026)).

Incidents and injuries. The Consumer Product Safety Commission said it is aware of four choking incidents involving the recalled toy. No medical attention was required.

Product description. The recall involves Chillife 5-in-1 Montessori Baby Toy Sets, which include a pull string teether toy, circular stacking blocks, a sensory toy, a shape-sorting cube with blocks, and a suction cup spinner. The recalled pull string teether has an off-white disc-shaped body with a blue ball in the center, six multicolored silicone pull strings, three free-spinning rings, and soft push buttons. "Model: CHILLIFE01" is printed on the side of the packaging.

The products were sold online at Amazon.com from July 2023 through April 2026 for about $27. The toys were manufactured in China and imported by Chillife Official.

Remedy. Consumers should immediately stop using the pull string teether toy, take it away from children, and contact Chillife Official for a partial refund of $5.40. To receive the refund, consumers must destroy the toy by cutting all silicone strings and writing "DESTROYED" on the main body of the toy with a permanent marker. Consumers must then email a photograph of the destroyed toy to the company and dispose of the product.

Customer contact. Consumers can contact Chillife Official by email at Chillifebabytoyrecall@outlook.com for additional information about the recall and refund process.
