The firm has received three reports of choking and respiratory distress incidents.
GOPO Toys has recalled about 70,410 pull string teething toys because the silicone strings can reach the back of a child’s throat and become lodged, posing a risk of respiratory distress and potentially deadly choking. The products violate the mandatory federal standard for toys because the strings are longer and thinner than permitted (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-562 (June 18, 2026)).
