    STATE UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES NEWS: Following the November 10 issuance of cease-and-desist letters by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman against daily fantasy sports websites DraftKings and FanDuel, ordering both companies to immediately stop accepting wagers inside New York, DraftKings has responded with a lawsuit against the Attorney General and the State of New York. The complaint alleges that DraftKings’ contests are games of skill and denies that it has engaged in illegal gambling, bookmaking, deceptive business practices, or false advertising.
