    The Utah State Tax Commission has issued a bulletin regarding previously enacted legislation decreasing the motor fuel tax rate from 37.9 cents to 31.9 cents per gallon, effective July 1, 2026. This one-time rate change remains in effect through December 31, 2026. All other fuel tax rates (diesel fuel, CNG, LNG, and Hydrogen) remain unchanged.
