Global Daily Tax News, Switzerland Launches New Unified Tax Services Portal, (May 12, 2026)

The Swiss Federal Tax Administration (FTA) launched its new FTA portal on May 11, 2026.

The portal combines numerous FTA online services, providing a single, centralized overview. The following services from ePortal are now available on the FTA portal:

• myFTA for businesses and individuals (registration and management);

• VAT registration services;

• VAT return submission using VAT return pro;

• VAT certificates;

• Radio and television fee services; and

• Withholding tax and stamp duty services.

More services will be gradually migrated to the new FTA portal. In addition, tax calulation tools currently available on the ePortal will become unavailable and accessible instead from the FTA website.
