In case you missed the in-depth coverage of Labor & Employment Law Daily during March, here’s a recap of some key developments in the L&E community.

    Highlights include:

    • Federal courts of appeals: The D.C. Circuit granted an emergency stay against the reinstatement of fired members of the NLRB and MSPB. The First Circuit denied a stay of a preliminary injunction of President Trump’s birthright citizenship executive order. The First Circuit also declined to stay a preliminary injunction against OMB funding freezes. The Fourth Circuit denied a stay in a case involving the reinstatement of thousands of federal workers. The Fifth Circuit ruled that SpaceX jumped the gun in an appeal challenging the constitutionality of NLRB administrative proceedings.

    • Agency actions: Discovery battles continue in three separate lawsuits challenging DOGE’s accessing of data at federal agencies. An executive order ends collective bargaining with unions at federal agencies with security missions.

    • Federal regulations: The Trump administration has issued a proposal on the Affordable Care Ace that reduces the enrollment period and ends ‘Dreamer’ coverage.
