    The USPTO’s next Patent Quality Chat webinar will be held Tuesday, June 14, from noon to 1 p.m. ET. The topic will be “eCommerce Modernization (eMod): Improving the Electronic Patent Application Process.” The webinar will be hosted by Lisa Tran, Communications Manager for eCommerce; Amy Stevens, Business Analyst leading the Electronic Business Center; and Richard Fernandez, eMod Project Manager.

    Webinar login information is available at the USPTO’s 2016 Patent Quality Chat webpage. The webpage has information about previous and upcoming Patent Quality Chat topics, as well as links to presentation slides and video recordings of previous chats. Future webinars will be held on the second Tuesday of each month on such topics as quality metrics, pre-appeal and after-final-consideration-pilot programs, and international programs.
