The CyberShare ISAC (Information Sharing and Analysis Center), which is administered by NTCA, yesterday announced a new “strategic partner” membership category, extending membership beyond employees of small broadband providers to “approved vendors that provide services and products that improve the security posture of broadband service providers,” which will be able to “participate in certain CyberShare activities and share specific threat and mitigation measures.”

“This will not only benefit vendors but will also give broadband provider participants access to more information and resources from their peers in the vendor community, helping them build their cyber defenses and enhancing the value of CyberShare for all,” CyberShare said in a news release.

Along with various marketing opportunities, Strategic Partner members will have opportunities “to participate in the CyberShare technical advisory group, subject to the approval of the CyberShare Working Group,” and “to join one or more regularly scheduled CyberShare calls to discuss vendor specific threats or mitigation measures,” it added.
