    Although there are no local North Dakota sales tax rate changes effective April 1, 2026, there are several city tax jurisdiction boundaries that will be changing because of population growth and adjustments.

    Specifically, the cities of Fargo, Harwood, Kindred, and Mandan will have boundary changes, effective April 1, 2026. Details on the boundary changes are available on the State Tax Commissioner's website.
