    The Nebraska Department of Revenue has reminded property owners that the Homestead Exemption Application, Form 458, is due to their county assessor between February 2, 2026 and June 30, 2026. The exemption is available to (i) persons age 65 or older before January 1, 2026, (ii) qualified disabled persons; or (iii) qualified disabled veterans and their surviving spouses.
