Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling about 57 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan Long Wheelbase and Jetta vehicles because bolts may be missing from the front seat tracks. The company cautions that the seat can move forward and back without restriction if bolts are missing, increasing the risk of injury during a crash (NHTSA Recall Notice, No. 21V038, Report receipt date: February 1, 2021).

Remedy. Volkswagen will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the front seat tracks and, as necessary, install the bolts, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin April 2, 2021.
