Dealers will replace the LED Driver module.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling about 16,543 2022 F-150 vehicles because the parking lights may flicker when the headlights are activated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108, which regards lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment. Flickering parking lights can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. Note: These vehicles were previously recalled for this same issue under 22V686 and will need to have the new remedy performed (NHTSA Recall Notice, No. 24V682, Report receipt date: Sept. 13, 2024).

Remedy. Dealers will replace the LED Driver module, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 7, 2024.

Contact information. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24C30. Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or go to www.nhtsa.gov.
