This will be the third meeting of the fiscal year.
The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board’s third quarterly meeting of fiscal year 2026 will take place April 29-30 in Washington, D.C.
On the agenda are reviews of comment letters in response to requests for comment on proposed amendments to Rule G-27 aimed at modernizing dealer supervisory requirements, and letters on proposed amendments to Rule D-15 that redefine Sophisticated Municipal Market Professional.
The Board will also review stakeholder feedback on a concept release designed to modernize municipal fund securities’ disclosure practices and discuss updates on the status of ongoing reviews relating to municipal advisors, Form G-32 and market infrastructure, and MSRB’s rule harmonization initiative, as well as market transparency and public accountability initiatives.
