A snapshot of the week’s IPO activity, including completed deals, new preliminary filings and IPO withdrawals.

The IPO market saw a rare filing by a New Zealand-headquartered company last week. If successful, SunScout Holding would be the first company based in New Zealand to complete an IPO in the U.S. since 2001. The company, whose CEO and COO will retain voting control over SunScout’s shares, manufactures autonomous, solar-powered robotic mowers, and related solar energy solutions. The week tallied only three completed deals, and for the first time in weeks the new issuers did not include a SPAC. Yesway, the operator of a chain of convenience stores in the western U.S., raised $280 million in its public market debut. The company spent just 25 days in public registration. The current average for 2026 IPO companies is 72 days. Precision-engineered components maker Elmet Group began public trading, becoming the first Maine-headquartered new issuer since 2005. The deal was Cantor Fitzgerald’s eleventh of the year, putting it on pace to match its 2025 total of 35 IPOs. X-Energy, a Maryland-based developer of nuclear reactors and fuels, also went public. The deal was the first for SIC 3443 (Fabricated Plate Work (Boiler Shops)) since July 2006 and only the fourth since the turn of the millennium.

New registrants. The week’s activity included seven new registrations. Along with the filing by SunScout Holding, investment banking adviser Lincoln International registered its IPO plans, and tapped Goldman Sachs to lead the proposed offering. Lincoln specializes in advising private equity and private credit investors, private company business owners, and other senior executives. The company will restructure in connection with the IPO and will conduct its business through an affiliated limited partnership. Israel, which has yet to produce a U.S. IPO in 2026, is home to new filer Tarsier Pharma. Tarsier’s therapies treat blinding diseases of the eye with underlying inflammatory pathologies. Certain company officers, directors, and key shareholders have indicated an interest in participating in the IPO at the public offering price. Blank check InterPrivate Investment Partners V was among the week’s preliminary registrants. The company intends to target technology, blockchain, digital assets, and traditional cash-flow businesses. Affiliates of InterPrivate’s management team have sponsored four prior SPACs, two of which completed business combinations and two of which liquidated. SIC 6770 (Blank Checks) also saw new public registrations by Hall Chadwick Acquisition II, East West Ave Acquisition, and Burtech Acquisition II. Singapore-headquartered Hall Chadwick II will seek a partner in the critical materials, infrastructure, and defense technology sectors. East West will focus on fintech, digital assets, and energy companies, while Burtech II will target the retail, hospitality, technology, or real estate markets.

Withdrawals. No companies chose to withdraw their pending IPO registration statements last week.

The information reported in IPO Tracker is gathered using IPO Vital Signs, a Wolters Kluwer Regulatory U.S. database that includes all SEC registered IPOs, including REITs and those non-U.S. IPO filers seeking to list in the U.S. markets. IPO Vital Signs does not track closed-end funds, best efforts or non-underwritten deals, or IPO offerings for amounts less than $5 million.
