    Lithuania is set to raise the nation's gambling industry tax from January 1, 2025.

    Under legislation enacted in June 2024, the rate of tax on gambling activities will rise from 20 percent to 22 percent, for tax periods beginning on or after January 1, 2025.

    The rate applies to gambling services, including slot machines, table games, bingo, tote betting, and remote gambling services.
