Attorneys Ryan Palmer and Lavon Emerson-Henry have joined Gary Plant Mooty as Principal and Special Counsel, respectively, in the firm’s Minnesota office. Both attorneys join the firm’s Franchise & Distribution practice group, the firm has announced.

Palmer focuses his practice on serving domestic and international clients across the hospitality, restaurant, retail, and service sectors. He counsels brand and concept owners in the development of franchise and distribution systems and assists businesses in resolving disputes with franchisees and licensees.

Similarly, Emerson-Henry concentrates on compliance with state and federal franchise registration and disclosure laws. She assists franchisors in structuring their franchise programs, preparing documentation necessary to establish franchise relationships and to comply with franchise registration and pre-sale disclosure laws, and handling franchise relationship issues.
