    Hong Kong's Legislative Council has approved the Air Passenger Departure Tax (Amendment) Bill 2025.

    The Bill raises the air passenger departure tax rate from HKD120 to HKD200 (USD25.5) per passenger. The new rate will be effective for air fares purchased from October 1, 2025.

    The Bill will be published in the Official Gazette on June 6, 2025.
