The SEC announced a two-week suspension in the trading of three offshore issuers’ securities. According to the orders, the Commission identified recommendations on social media that seemed designed to manipulate the price and volume of the securities. The three stocks trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market following recent IPOs.

Trading is suspended between October 6 and October 17 in the securities of the following issuers:

    • Platinum Analytics Cayman Limited (CIK No. 0002053033), a holding company incorporated in the Cayman Islands whose principal executive offices are located in Singapore (Nasdaq Capital Market: PLTS). The company, an FX trading software developer, went public last month.

    • Pitanium Limited (CIK No. 0002046573), a holding company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands whose principal executive offices are located in Hong Kong (Nasdaq Capital Market: PTNM). Through a subsidiary, Pitanium offers high-end skincare and haircare solutions to spas in Hong Kong; it completed its IPO in June.

    • Etoiles Capital Group Co., Ltd (CIK No. 0002058349), a holding company incorporated in the Cayman Islands whose principal executive offices are located in Hong Kong (Nasdaq Capital Market: EFTY). The investor relation services provider began trading in August.

The SEC temporarily suspended trading because of potential manipulation through buy recommendations made to investors by unknown persons via social media. According to the orders, those recommendations appeared designed to artificially inflate the securities’ price and volume.

The Commission cautions broker-dealers, shareholders, and potential purchasers to carefully consider the information in the suspension orders, along with all other currently or subsequently available information.

The Commission also asks that broker-dealers or anyone else who has information about the matter contact the Home Office at [email protected].
