The products violate Federal Hazardous Substances Act labeling requirements.

About 450 bottles of Joly’s 80% Vinegar are being recalled because they lack required warning labels and first aid instructions. This omission violates the Federal Hazardous Substances Act and creates a deadly risk of poisoning if the contents are swallowed and a serious injury from chemical burns to the skin and eyes if improperly handled (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-273 (Feb. 19, 2026)).

Incidents and injuries. No incidents or injuries have been reported.

Product description. The recall covers Joly’s 80% Vinegar sold in 32 ounce bottles in a two pack configuration. The bottles are transparent with white caps and feature an orange and red label showing the Joly’s brand name, the concentration level, and the statement “Dilutes to 5 Gallons.” No other markings appear on the containers.

The product was sold on Amazon.com between May and November 2025. Joly’s LLC, of Orlando, Florida, manufactured the vinegar in the United States.

Remedy. The company is directing consumers to place the product out of reach of children and contact Joly’s for a full refund. Buyers will be asked to email a photo of the product with “RECALLED” written on the container to receive reimbursement and disposal instructions.

Customer contact. For more information, customers may contact Joly’s at 240-412-8720 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday; or by email at jolysllc@gmail.com.
