Consumers should stop using the product unless it is securely anchored to a wall.

WLIVE, of China, has issued a recall for approximately 76,500 units of its Fabric 12-Drawer Dressers because they pose a tip-over and entrapment hazard if not anchored to the wall, potentially leading to serious injury or death. The product violates the mandatory safety standard for clothing storage units under the STURDY Act (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-022 (Oct. 16, 2025)).

Incidents and injuries. One incident of a dresser tipping over has been reported, but no injuries.

Product description. The recalled dressers feature a metal frame, wooden top, and twelve collapsible fabric drawers. They measure approximately 39 inches wide, 12 inches deep, and 48 inches high, weighing around 35 pounds. The affected models were sold in various colors including charcoal black, black rustic brown, dark grey, light grey, white, and rustic brown wood grain print. The packaging is marked with the code “ASNG092.”

The dressers were manufactured in China and were sold exclusively on Amazon between September 2023 and August 2025 for about $83.

Remedy. Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the dressers unless they are securely anchored to a wall, and to keep them out of reach of children. WLIVE is offering a full refund to affected customers. To receive the refund, consumers must submit a photo showing that the dresser has been properly disposed of.
