There have been at least 27 reported burn injuries.
About 17,600 Kidisle coffeemakers are being recalled because they can become clogged, causing hot liquid or steam to build up and release unexpectedly during use. This poses a risk of serious burn injuries (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-557 (June 11, 2026)).
Incidents and injuries. CPSC said it is aware of at least 107 reports of the coffeemakers releasing hot liquid or steam unexpectedly. Those incidents have resulted in at least 27 reported injuries, including first- and second-degree burns that required medical treatment.
Product description. The recall involves Kidisle-branded hot and iced single-serve coffee machines. The coffeemakers are sold in black, white, and gray, measure about 11 inches high and 6 inches wide, and feature a 50-ounce detachable water tank. They are capable of brewing between 6 and 14 ounces of coffee using pods or ground coffee. The model number “KC101B” appears on a sticker on the underside of the unit and may also appear on the product order receipt.
The coffeemakers were manufactured in China and sold online at Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and eBay.com from June 2024 through April 2026 for about $49. The products were imported by Kidisle, of China.
Remedy. Consumers are instructed to stop using the recalled coffeemakers immediately and contact Kidisle for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to unplug the device, cut the power cord, write “Recalled” on the machine, and submit a photo showing the destroyed unit with the model number visible to the firm via email.
