The firm will provide a free in-home repair kit to replace the connection component.

Currey & Company has announced a recall of about 260 Electra Chandelier and Electra Three Tier Chandelier light fixtures due to an impact injury hazard. The company reports that the component connecting the fixture to the ceiling mount is not properly threaded, which can cause the chandelier to fall unexpectedly (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-155 (Dec. 18, 2025)).

Incidents and injuries. No injuries have been reported, though two incidents occurred, including one involving property damage.

Product description. The recalled products include all Electra Chandelier and Electra Three Tier Chandelier models. These fixtures are made of glass and iron with a brass metal frame. The Electra Chandelier, model number 9000-1234, measures 18 inches by 29 inches and weighs 51 pounds, while the Electra Three Tier Chandelier, model number 9000-1235, measures 47 inches by 29 inches and weighs 131 pounds. Both models have “Currey & Company” and the model number printed on the ceiling canopy.

The chandeliers were manufactured in India and were sold at Currey & Company showrooms, lighting stores nationwide, and online at www.curreyandcompany.com and other e-commerce home retailers from May 2024 through September 2025 for between $3,000 and $10,000.

Remedy. Consumers should immediately contact Currey & Company for a free in-home repair kit to replace the connection component. The company will cover professional installation costs directly or reimburse consumers for the full cost of installation.

Customer contact. For more information, customers may contact Currey & Company toll-free at 800-899-7047 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET Monday through Friday; by email at recall@curreyco.com; or online at https://www.curreyandcompany.com/legalities/recall/ or https://www.curreyandcompany.com and click on “Recall” at the bottom of the page.
