Incidents and injuries. No incidents or injuries have been reported.
Product description. The recalled kits are marketed under the Kori Gey brand and are described as children’s craft toys that allow users to create jelly-like figures by dropping colored gel into water. Each kit includes 22 bottles of water gel (12 non-sparkly and 10 sparkly), 22 molds, a plastic strainer, a jar labeled “magic powder,” an extra packet of magic powder, a paint brush, disposable gloves, and an LED light powered by a button cell battery. The kits are packaged in a plastic jar with a lid, and the front label reads “Kori Gey” and “Water Elf Kit.”
The products were manufactured in China and sold online through Amazon by Qaniy between March 2025 and July 2025 for about $30.
Remedy. Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the LED light component, remove it from children’s reach, and properly dispose of the button cell battery in accordance with local hazardous waste guidelines.
