About 590 CheerKid Baby Bath Seats have been recalled because they violate the mandatory standard for infant bath seats and pose a risk of serious injury or death from drowning. The seats, sold online by Babibaby and Woot, can become unstable and tip over during use (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-266 (Feb. 12, 2026)).
Incidents and injuries. No incidents or injuries have been reported.
Product description. The affected seats were sold in gray, pink, and light blue and feature five suction cups on the bottom along with a multi colored rolling abacus toy at the front. Each unit is labeled “Model: BH-222” on the back. No injuries have been reported, but the seats do not meet stability requirements intended to prevent tipping during bathing.
The bath seats were sold on Amazon.com in September 2025 for about $35 and were distributed by Hangzhou Youpeng Trading Co., Ltd., doing business as Babibaby, in China, as well as Woot, of Carrollton, Texas. All units were manufactured in China.
Remedy. Consumers are instructed to stop using the bath seats immediately and contact Babibaby for a full refund. The recall process requires consumers to mark the seat as “Recalled,” disassemble the product by removing the backrest and arm restraints, destroy the suction cups and screws, and submit a photo of the disassembled seat to CheerKid-Recall@outlook.com.
Customer contact. For more information, customers may contact Babibaby by email at CheerKid-Recall@outlook.com.
