    IP Law Daily, VITAL BRIEFING—Imports surge as trade deficit widens, (Oct 9, 2026)

    The U.S. Census Bureau reported that import-export data for August showed the trade deficit in goods and services growing to $105.6 billion for the month, $12.7 billion higher than the $92.8 billion reported in July.
