The Colorado Public Utilities Commission has released a decision keeping in place telemarketer fees for administration of the Colorado No-Call List program.

State regulations require telephone solicitors to register and submit an annual registration fee, the proceeds of which are intended to cover the costs of the no-call program.

Rule 2892(b) requires that the commission set the annual registration fees on a sliding scale between $0 and $500 to ensure that the required revenues are raised annually. The maximum fee is applicable to those companies, persons, or entities with more than 1,000 employees. Companies, persons, or entities with fewer than five employees are not required to pay a registration fee.

In its decision, the PUC said that because “the fees have been consolidated into a narrowly sliding scale all except for the lowest category of employees (five to ten), the Commission opts to maintain the same scale that it established for Calendar Year 2025.” (Colo. Pub. Util. Comm’n No. 25M-0419T).
