Comment deadlines and effective dates for regulatory activity issued by the federal financial institution agencies.

The Banking and Finance Law Daily Regulation Tracker includes a Proposed Rules Comment Calendar and a table of Final Rule Effective Dates. Recent activity includes the following:

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation has formally published, in the Federal Register, a notice of proposed rulemaking to amend the agency’s regulations governing notices filed under the Change in Bank Control Act. Specifically, the proposed rulemaking would require advance notice to the FDIC for certain acquisitions of voting securities of FDIC-supervised institutions, at a level sufficient to trigger a presumption of control under the regulations, whether such investments are made directly in the institution or indirectly through a holding company.

See the Regulation Tracker for details.
