    Global Daily Tax News, Lithuania Legislates To Triple Tax On Vaping Liquids, (Nov 25, 2025)

    The Lithuanian Government has released draft legislation to substantially raise the rate of tax on vaping liquids.

    The law would raise the tax rate per millilitre of e-liquid from EUR0.63 in 2025 to EUR2 next year.

    The Lithuanian Government has released draft legislation to substantially raise the rate of tax on vaping liquids.

    The law would raise the tax rate per millilitre of e-liquid from EUR0.63 in 2025 to EUR2 next year.

    The increase is part of a multi-year plan to substantially raise tax on vaping products.

    Meanwhile, the legislation would raise the rate of excise duty on ethyl alcohol to EUR3,472.50 per hectolitre of pure ethyl alcohol.

    The changes would be effective from March 1, 2026.
