National law firm Quarles & Brady LLP has formed a new Trade Secrets and Unfair Competition Subgroup, a specialty practice on matters involving unfair competitive practices, according to a recent announcement. The new subgroup includes more than 40 attorneys from across the firm’s offices.

Drawing on the firm’s years of experience, the subgroup will focus on matters related to trade secrets, noncompetition agreements, the duty of loyalty, false advertising, defamation, consumer protection, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

“The ultimate goal of the new subgroup is to capitalize upon Quarles & Brady’s wealth of experience in these areas for the benefit of our clients,” said Nicole Druckery, chair of the new subgroup.

“Our clients will benefit from the experience of the attorney they are working with, as well as the experience their attorney has gained in collaborating with others,” said Jeff Morris, a partner in the firm’s new subgroup, who has more than 30 years of experience working on these matters.

Quarles & Brady LLP is a full-service law firm with more than 400 attorneys practicing from offices in Phoenix and Tucson, Ariz.; Naples and Tampa, Fla.; Chicago, Ill; Madison and Milwaukee, Wis.; Washington, D.C.; and Shanghai, China.
