McDermott Will & Emery has expanded its Paris Office with the addition of competition attorney Laurent Ayache as a partner in the firm’s Antitrust & Competition Practice Group, the firm recently announced.

Ayache focuses his practice, in part, on competition law and regulation, mainly representing major French companies in regulated industries, such as airports, electronic communications, energy, safe drinking water, sanitation, social housing, and transportation. He has authored a booklet and various articles on competition law and the public sector. In addition, Ayache teaches law courses at the University of Paris. He received his law degrees from Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and Paris University Faculty of Law.
