Antitrust Law Daily Wrap Up, LAW FIRM NEWS: Manatt Phelps adds top litigators in Washington, D.C., (Aug 26, 2014)

Benjamin G. Chew, Nigel Wilkinson, and Joshua Drian have joined Manatt Phelps & Phillips, LLP in Washington, D.C., according to an August 25 announcement. All three come to Manatt from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman.

A partner, Chew is an accomplished litigator with extensive experience in both federal and state courts. Prior to joining Pillsbury, he headed the Commercial Litigation and Antitrust Practice Group at Patton Boggs, where he practiced for more than 20 years. Chew has a proven track record for handling disputes involving RICO, intellectual property, government contracts, the Uniform Commercial Code, trade association liability, and fraud.

Wilkinson, also a partner, counsels clients on pre-litigation, litigation, arbitration, mediation, bankruptcy, and agency-related matters such as defamation, trade secret misappropriation, patent infringement, contract disputes, civil RICO, fraud, and tort claims.

Joining the firm as an associate, Drian focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, white-collar criminal defense, and government and internal investigations. He has experience in federal and state courts, arbitration, and pretrial investigative proceedings.
