Additionally, a number of antitrust attorneys have received recognition for their abilities and accomplishments.

Law firms continued to announce new hires, promotions, and recognition of their antitrust attorneys by entities such as the New York Law Journal, Legal 500, and Lawdragon. ABA appointments, completed deals, and publications are also discussed.

New Hires. Hausfeld has announced that Bonny E. Sweeney has rejoined the firm as a partner at its San Francisco office. Sweeney, a prominent antitrust trial lawyer, returns to the firm following her service as Senior Trial/Litigation Counsel in the Department of Justice Antitrust Division, where she trained and advised attorneys on trial practice and substantive antitrust law and served on trial teams in significant enforcement actions, including the government’s monopolization litigation against Live Nation/Ticketmaster and the successful challenge to the American Airlines–JetBlue Northeast Alliance. Sweeney has served as lead and co-lead counsel in major antitrust class actions, resulting in landmark court decisions on antitrust injury, class certification, and damages.

Also, BakerHostetler has added commercial litigation attorney and antitrust leader Kenneth Racowski as partner in the firm’s Philadelphia office. Racowski comes to the firm as a partner in the Litigation Practice Group and as a member of the Antitrust and Competition and Commercial Litigation teams. Previously, he was a partner in an Am 50 law firm, where he co-chaired the firm’s antitrust team. Racowski advises businesses on intricate, high-stakes antitrust, class action and commercial litigation, serving as lead counsel in sophisticated antitrust disputes.

John Harkrider, considered one of the premier antitrust lawyers in America, and Craig Minerva, a prominent antitrust lawyer and former attorney with the Antitrust Division, will join the Kirkland & Ellis as partners to help lead the firm’s antitrust practice. Both come from Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider LLP, where Harkrider was a founding partner. Harkrider advises multinational corporations and private equity firms and their portfolio companies across a wide full spectrum of antitrust matters, while Minerva advises clients on all aspects of civil antitrust matters with a focus on high-stakes, multinational transaction reviews.

In addition, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP have stated that Timothy Cameron has joined as a partner in the Litigation Practice. He will be based in New York. Cameron, an accomplished trial lawyer, has an extensive background counselling on enforcement actions, including Justice Department and FTC merger challenges.

Crowell & Moring has added experienced antitrust senior counsel Ryan Marth to the Antitrust and Competition Group in the firm's Minneapolis office. Marth will advise clients on complex antitrust litigation, cross-border transactional and regulatory matters, and opt-out plaintiff recovery. He brings over two decades of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex antitrust litigation.

On the West Coast, Goodwin has announced that Margaret (Meg) Webb has become a partner in its Antitrust and Competition practice within the Complex Litigation and Dispute Resolution group, which is based in San Francisco. Webb represents clients in antitrust and competition matters, including government investigations, complex litigation, and enforcement actions. She advises domestic and multinational companies that deal with technology, manufacturing, media, pharmaceuticals, and transportation.

Europe. Across the pond, Latham & Watkins has announced that Sascha Schubert will join the firm's Brussels office as a partner in the Antitrust & Competition Practice. Schubert, who comes to Latham from Freshfields, is widely regarded as one of Europe's most notable competition lawyers. Asia. Kudun and Partners (KAP) has added competition law specialist Piyapat Tubin to launch the firm’s Antitrust & Trade Competition Practice. This strategic addition reflects the firm’s continued investment in high-growth practice areas driven by increasing regulatory complexity and heightened competition law enforcement across Thailand and the surrounding region. KAP is launching its Antitrust & Trade Competition Practice with the appointment of Tubin, a highly regarded competition law specialist with over a decade of experience in competition law enforcement, investigations, litigation, regulatory policy, and legislative drafting.

Additionally, Latham & Watkins has announced that Angie Ng will join the firm’s Antitrust & Competition Practice as a partner based in Singapore. Ng, one of Asia’s most well-regarded antitrust attorneys, will play a crucial role in expanding the firm’s Asia-Pacific antitrust capabilities from Singapore, complementing its elite China antitrust practice, according to the firm. Ng joins Latham from Ashurst LLP in Singapore.

Further, Attorney Giusung Oh has joined South Korean law firm Lee & Ko. Oh was formerly General Counsel and Non-Standing Commissioner of the Korea Fair Trade Commission.

Recognition was given to the depth of the firm's antitrust practice, with individual honors spanning multiple ranking categories and attorneys across the team receiving recognition for their work.

Lawdragon. Ten Weil partners were named to the 2026 Lawdragon “500 Leading Global Investigations Lawyers” list, the firm announced on July 10. The list highlights advisors entrusted with “confidential and high-level investigations throughout the world” and “admired for their intellect and wisdom as well as conduct and leadership.” Among the Weil attorneys celebrated were Antitrust Practice Group partners Meagan Bellshaw and Adam Hemlock.
