Frankfurt Kurnit Klein + Selz PC has welcomed attorney Tanya Forsheit as a partner and co-chair of the firm’s Privacy and Data Security Group. She joins the firm’s Los Angeles office from BakerHostetler, Frankfurt Kurnit has announced.

Forsheit counsels clients facing data security breaches and defends against allegations that they mishandled sensitive customer or employee information. In addition, she advises on the protection, storage, and monetization of confidential data, including privacy policies, mobile apps, cloud computing, SaaS, smart devices, and data analytics.

Forsheit represents multi-national and emerging companies in a number of industries, including consumer products, entertainment, health care, media, professional services, and technology. She is also a partner in the firm’s Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations, Litigation, and Technology & Digital Media groups.
