Franchise attorney Jeffrey Hoffman will continue his litigation practice as a partner in Dale & Lessmann’s Litigation/Dispute Resolution group in Toronto, the firm recently announced. Previously, Hoffman was a partner with Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP.

Hoffman practices in all areas of commercial litigation, with a focus on franchise and distribution law, real estate, employment law, and professional negligence. He has more than 25 years of experience in commercial litigation, including appearances before the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal for Ontario.

Hoffman is chair of the Ontario Bar Association Franchise Law Section and is a member of the Commercial List User’s Committee of the Commercial Court, Superior Court of Justice (Ontario). He earned his LL.B. from the University of Windsor and his B.A. from the University of Toronto. Recently, Hoffman was selected by his peers for inclusion in “The Best Lawyers in Canada 2015.”
