Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP has added prominent federal prosecutor Mark Krotoski to its Litigation Practice, strengthening the firm’s antitrust and privacy capabilities. Krotoski joins the firm’s Washington, D.C. office as a partner, but will relocate to Northern California, where he will split his time between the San Francisco and Palo Alto offices.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Krotoski was Assistant Chief of the National Criminal Enforcement Section of the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, where he supervised and litigated high profile international cartel cases. He also held a number of senior positions with the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and California. Krotoski focuses his practice on representing and advising clients on antitrust cartel investigations; cybersecurity, data breach, and privacy matters; fraud and foreign corrupt practices cases; as well as government investigations. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.

“While Morgan Lewis has handled some of the largest and most high profile international cartel investigations in recent years, it is increasingly common for clients to turn to firms that have lawyers of fairly recent vintage from relevant senior positions within the U.S. DOJ,” stated Leader of Morgan Lewis’ Litigation Practice, J. Gordon Cooney, Jr. “With his background of senior-level work in Washington, D.C., Mark meets this expectation—and with his deep personal and professional roots in the San Francisco Bay Area, an important venue for cartel investigations, he exceeds it.”

Morgan Lewis has over 1,600 legal professionals in 26 offices across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. The firm’s Litigation Practice has roughly 700 attorneys firm-wide, and litigates cases in every major U.S. jurisdiction, as well as in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Attorneys: Mark L. Krotoski and J. Gordon Cooney, Jr. (Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP)
